The Snow Queen

The Snow Queen

Looks like Lady Winter has arrived early this year in Vancouver.

My drawing is inspired by the story The Snow Queen from Hans Christian Andersen.

The swirls in the image are inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s painting Starry Night.

It’s beautiful outside. Below is a photo from of our local trails.

Mutating Leopard Spots

Maybe a leopard can change their spots ???

Another creation during “Art Time” with my nieces and nephews at Grandma’s.

Godzilla’s Roaring Revenge

Godzilla Roar

Grandma has a neat Godzilla toy at her house.

Toys are always such great inspirations for fun artwork.

Autumn Puddles

It is officially fall in Vancouver — and the rainy season has arrived with a big splash.

Don’t forget your umbrella.

All My Heart

With all my heart, I love you Jade.

Detail of crayon and watercolour.

Alien Acrobat

They’re head over heals about exploring new galaxies.

Froggie Went A Courtin

Jade loves this song! Lately, I’ve been singing it lots.

Soft Breeze

I scribbled the crayons on newsprint and Jade splashed the colour.
