The lion and plant are very happy after the rain … (cue the rainbow).

Blue Rhythm

Blue Rhythm

Another of my creations during “Art Time” with my nieces and nephews at Grandma’s.

After I titled the image, I found a 1931 Mickey Mouse film with the same name.

Enclosed below is a link of the colourized version of the animation …

Our Magical Wedding

Wedding Drawing

While at Grandma’s place, Jade and I looked at old photo albums.

Jade especially loved our wedding album.

After we paged through it, Jade immediately started drawing.

It was so cool seeing her so excited about this magical day.

Tomorrow is our family’s 13th wedding anniversary.

I’m so grateful for our lifetime of love together.

Here’s a photograph of our first dance as husband and wife.

Liam The Scream’s “Red Autumn”

Red Autumn / Splatter Paint

At Grandma’s place, Jade had some exciting moments with her cousin Liam.

Liam loves to “splatter paint” and he created this wonderful autumn image (above).

My wife also created this “edgy” snake for Liam’s arm with face paints (below).

Liam’s hamming it up to scare his mom (my sister).

Godzilla’s Roaring Revenge

Godzilla Roar

Grandma has a neat Godzilla toy at her house.

Toys are always such great inspirations for fun artwork.

Grandma’s Art Gallery

Fridge Art Gallery

Lots of new art on Grandma’s fridge.

My daughter Jade, her cousins and myself drew voraciously at Grandma’s place.

Visiting Grandma’s Home

Visiting Grandma’s Home

We just came back from Grandma’s home in Saskatchewan.

Grandma is “old school” and doesn’t have any cable tv or internet connections.

Because of that, we spent a lot of time drawing, going to to the playground, etc.

Jade had a wonderful time seeing all her cousins, aunts, uncles …

And Jade especially loved seeing her Grandma again.

Generational Journey with Bert & Ernie

Bert and Ernie / Retro Toy

Bert and Ernie / Drawing

Jade really enjoys the chemistry between Bert and Ernie.

Growing up, my wife was also a big fan and still loves drawing them.

It’s really cool when both parents and kids can compare and create their own fun memories.

For example, my wife still has her Sesame Street building from her childhood (photo above).

Jade loves playing with it just as much as we do (haha).

Her Frog Prince

Her Frog Prince

Jade liked the cute, geeky doodle … but she wouldn’t kiss him.
