Last week, there was a city wide celebration called Vancouver Draw Down. Leading up to the event, were daily online challenges. The above image was my response to the Day 3 Challenge.
Find a pattern in nature and fill a page by repeating it over and over, using at least eight different colours.
My wife created this kooky drawing during the cousin “art time” at grandma’s.
Lots of new art on Grandma’s fridge.
My daughter Jade, her cousins and myself drew voraciously at Grandma’s place.
I drew the green seaweed and the top blue line.
Jade created the rest of the drawing.
Those pink jellyfish really love to party.
Me and my 8-arm friends are indestructible … We’re not scared of nothing!
My wife drew these fun doodles with Jade.
A magical time of the year.
Talking with Jade about the life cycle of salmon.
The salmon are spawning in our rivers right now.
Detail from our drawing.
The view from our window.
This is a collaborative image we produced last year. Jade and I sighted our 1st spawning salmon yesterday. We also watched the fishermen converge under the bridge.
My wife and a detail of our large drawing. We are the people in your neighbourhood (haha).
Yea, we like to draw … we probably drive all our neighbours crazy.
